The HUBZone Certification is an SBA federal government program that's goal is to award at least 3% of all contracting spend to HUBZone-certified businesses each year. Must be at least 51% owned and controlled by U.S. citizens, a Community Development Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation, Native Hawaiian organization, or an Indian tribe.

Your place of business must have it's principal office located in a HUBZone and have at least 35% of it's employees living in a HUBZone. The government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses in full and open competition. The HubZone program makes your business eligible to compete for the program's set-aside contracts. You also get a 10% price evaluation preference in full and open contract competitions.
